The Zellige Universe
The Art of Hand-Chiselled Clay. From the heart of Fez to the walls of the world, curated by Maâlem Mohamed.

The Scale & Lantern Shapes
Moving away from the square, these curved shapes like the "Fish Scale" (Khmissa) or the "Fez Lantern" add a soft, feminine movement to a room. These shapes require expert cutting to ensure the grout lines remain razor-thin.
Borders & Liners
Narrow, decorative strips used to frame doors, mirrors, or floor sections. These "Frise" tiles often feature two-tone patterns (Black & White or Blue & White...) to provide a sharp, clean finish to a Zellige installation.
Hand-Painted Zellige
hand-painted with fine floral or geometric motifs using a brush made of goat hair. This is the "high couture" of Zellige, used to create focal points in a room.

Natural & Unglazed
his category leaves the clay in its most honest form bisque-fired without the glass glaze.
